Faye Kidd, 64, of Harrodsburg, KY passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at home. Born December 3, 1951 in Stanford, KY to the late Eldenberry Kidd and Smarie Carpenter, she was a homemaker for most of her life, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survivors include one son; Jimmy Baker, Jr. (Novella) of Stanford, KY, four daughters; Regina Faye Smith (Don) of Stanford, KY, Sonya Gale Baker of Danville, KY, Melissa Ann Stringfield (Brian), and Desria Horn (Kevin) both of Harrodsburg, KY, four brothers, three sisters, twenty two grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son; Steven Lynn Baker, four brothers, and one sister.
A one day service has been scheduled for Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with funeral service beginning at 1pm with Reverend Mike Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Hopkins Cemetery in Crab Orchard, KY and casket bearers will be: Jonathan Baker, Nathan Smith, Alexander Baker, Josh Cobb, Andrew Smith, Nathaniel Baker, Nicholas Baker, and Jered Cobb. Honorary bearers are: Landon Irvin, Aiden Irvin, Elisha Stringfield, and Jacob Baker.
