Harold F. Jaschob Sr., 91, of New Holstein, died Friday evening December 7, 2012 surrounded by his loving family at Homestead Care Center where he had been a
resident for the past 2 1/2 years.
He was born December 10, 1920 in Kiel son of the late Carl Sr. and Anna (Jaschob) Jaschob.

Harold was a 1938 graduate of Kiel High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II.
On December 13, 1941 he was united in marriage to Jeannette Boll at St. Peter's UCC in Kiel. Harold and Jeannette spent 55 years together before she preceded
him in death on December 16, 1996.
Harold worked at Arps Corp in New Holstein for 40 years until his retirement.

He was a member of St. John UCC in New Holstein and the New Holstein American Legion Post #124.
In his free time he enjoyed traveling and was an all around handyman.

Survivors include his six children; Harry (Karen) Jaschob, New Holstein, Ken (Kay) Jaschob, Waupaca, Gary (Linda) Jaschob, Rontonda West, FL, Jeanne
(Ken) Chaussee, New Holstein Jim (Mary) Jaschob, New Holstein, Judy (Mike) Salm, New Holstein, 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren. Harold is also
survived by numerous brothers-in-law and sister-in-law along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by 7 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 grandson; Michael Chaussee.

Funeral Services for Harold will be held at 4:00pm on Monday December 10, 2012 at St. John UCC, 2111 Church St. New Holstein, with Rev. James Werner officiating. Family and friends may call at the church from 2:00pm until the time of services. Entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc. American Legion Post #124 will conduct military services following church.
