Mrs. Zellie Sutton Durden, 83, of 2107 Hawthorne Street died Thursday at Candler General Hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of Lyons and had been a resident of Savannah for 20 years.
Surviving are a son, Sutton Durden of Savannah; two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Dudley and Mrs. Ouida Johnson, both of Savannah; two brothers, W.C. and Fred Sutton, both of Lyons; four sisters, Mrs. Alma Mann and Mrs. David F. McGuire, both of Jacksonville, Fla., Miss Gladys Sutton and Mrs. Johnnie Will Dutton, both of Lyons; and seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Home, with burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
