Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at the Albany Cemetery with the Rev. Don Clevenger officiating, directed by Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home. Mr. Burge was born in Meridian. He married Mildred Marie Alford in 1941; she died in 1998. He was a driller and had served in the US Army during World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Dolores Martin of Albany; one son, Edgar E. Burge Jr. of Albany; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
