Last rites for Mrs. James Leo Norwood, 17, of El Paso were held at the First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Albany Cemetery.

Mrs. Norwood died Friday after an illness of 2 months, caused by heart ailment. The body was brought by train to Abilene, and from there overland in the Castleberry funeral coach to Albany

Allene Burge was born May 25, 1926, in Haskell county. In 1927 she moved with her parents to Stamford, and in 1034 they moved to Albany, where she lived until two years ago when she moved to El Paso.

She was married to James Leo Norwood In June, 1941, in El Paso.
