Albany--Floyd C. Burge , 76, brother of an Abilene resident, died Friday at a local hospital. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Assembly of God church with the Rev. Don Clevenger officiating. Burial will be in the Albany Cemetery, directed by Godfrey Funeral Home. Born in McLennan County, he moved to Albany 54 years ago. He worked for the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation, was a member of the Assembly of God Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Burge of Albany, a son, Warren Burge of Mineral Wells, a foster daughter, Paula Killingsworth of Lancaster; a sister, Marie Kenney of Abilene, two brothers, Ed Burge of Nevada and T. A. Higgins of Stephenville; and three grandchildren.
