Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Oscar R. Long Sr. and Alma M. (Leisey) Long.
Surviving are two sisters, Shirley (Long) Armstrong, Hamburg, and Marion (Long) Nagle, Reading; and three stepsisters: Marion (Long) Sauer, Arlene (Long) Schwartz, and Esther (Long) Luckenbill, all of Bernville.
Services will be Friday at noon in Lutz Funeral Home Inc., Mount Penn. Burial will be in St. John's (Gernant's) Cemetery, Ontelaunee Township.
