The body of William W. Fisher, a former resident of this city, who died Wednesday night at his home in Chicago, after a lingering illness, will arrive in this city today. Mr. Fisher was fifty-four years old and was born in this city, where he spent the greater portion of his life. About twenty years ago he left this city for Chicago, where he resided until his death. He followed the printing trade in Springfield for many years being employed by the Illinois State Register.

The decedent is survived by his wife and four children, Irving, William, Laura and Samuel Fisher, all of Chicago; his mother Mrs. Melvina Alvey Fisher of this city; three brothers, Samuel A. Fisher of Cincinnati, Ohio; Fred S. Fisher of St. Paul, Minn., Irving Fisher of South Bend, Ind., and seven sisters, Mrs. Ida M. Watson of Chicago, Mrs. S. S. Brotherton of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and the Misses Fanny, Bertha, Anna, Catherine and Laura Fisher of this city.
