Miss Fannie Fisher, an employe of the state for forty years, died suddenly today at her residence, South Fourth street. She was stricken with a heart attack and died before members of the family could summon a physician. Miss Fisher had been in failing health for about two years.
A native of Springfield, Miss Fisher was employed as bookkeeper by the state museum and was one of the oldest employes of the state.
Surviving are two sisters, Misses Laura and Katherine Fisher of Springfield and one brother, Irving Fisher of Waltham, Mass. --IL State Journal, Springfield, IL, 11-5-1935
Fannie is buried in the Fisher/Dorwin plot but has no tombstone.
