Aaron Arner, a highly esteemed resident of Chapman's Station, died there at 10 o'clock Monday night from general debility, aged 88 years, 7 months and 12 days.
Mr. Arner was born In Upper Macungie, son of the late John and Sarah (nee Diehl) Amer.
He was a member of Claussville Castle, No. 486, K. G. E. and of Jordan Reformed church, in which he held all of the offices.
He leaves his widow, Amanda (nee Haas), two sons, Franklin and Webster. this city, and a daughter. Mrs. Lillie Ziegler, of Chapman's.
Funeral services will be held at his home, Chapman's Station, on Friday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock. Continued services will be held in Jordan Reformed church, and interment will be made In the cemetery adjoining.
