Mr. Eldridge Maynard, age 74, of Elm Ave., Dunn died Friday, December 30, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Mr. Maynard was born in Harnett County on August 4, 1942 the son of the late Elmon Maynard & Effie Maynard and is preceded in death by a baby brother, Eldridge Maynard, another brother, Floyd Maynard & a great grandchild, Isaiah Silicke Raines. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hollis Frederick & Rev. Gene Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn. He is survived by: His wife: Eleanor M. Maynard of the home; Daughters: Jennifer Maiden & (husband) William of Fayetteville, NC; Tonya Dorman Blue & (husband) Charles of Clinton, NC; Pamela Elgie Winters of Dunn, NC; Brothers: Leslie Maynard of Clinton, NC; Talmadge Maynard & (wife) Margaret of Benson NC; Lacy Maynard & (wife) Anna of Dunn, NC; Sisters: Pearl Bell of Clinton, NC; Delphia Chance of Dunn, NC; Mavis Maynard & (husband) Johnny of High Point, NC; Vernell Brewington of Dunn, NC.Adopted Grandchildren: Richard Maynard, Justin Maynard, Paige Maynard, David Maynard & Sylvia Leighann Maynard. Grandchildren: Erica Brewington, Ashley Cordona, Cassidy Winters, Cameron Winters, Zachary Winters. 12 Great Grandchildren.
