Ruby Haws, age 83, of Olney, passed away on Sunday June 18, 2017. She was born on September 24, 1933, the daughter of Pearl "Shorty" and Violet Ellen (Dunlap) Harmon.
She married George Dale Haws on November 27, 1950 in Newton, IL. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1992.
Ruby worked as a prep cook at The Holiday for many years and she also helped on the Fire Rescue Squad.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Ruby is survived by her Son, David Haws of Olney; Sisters, Juanita Runyon, Carol Bass, Linda Jackson, and Elizabeth Govers; Three Grandchildren, and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Ruby is preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, Brothers, Bob, Ray, Neil and Eddie Joe Harmon, Sister, Helen Harmon.
Graveside services Mount Pleasant cemetery, Claremont, IL.
