He work at Shoe Factor and Vinegar Plant in Olney, Farm the family land with help of his children.

Private family graveside services, will be 11 a.m. Tues in Mt Pleasant Cemtery with Rev. Joe Morgan presiding. Private family visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time at Summers Funeral Home.
Mr. Harmon was born Aug 24, 1902 in Claremont, the son of Robert Lee and Nancy Olive Barlett Harmon.
He married Violet Dunlap Harmon, Mar 22, 1930 in Clay County.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors, include his wife Violet: four sons, Robert Harmon, Calhoun, Neil Harmon, Olney, Raymond Harmon, Joliet and Edward Joe Harmon, Houma, La: five daughters, Mrs. Roscoe(Juanita)Runyon, Mrs. George (Ruby)Haws and Linda Sue Jackson all of Olney, Carolyn R. Dickerson, Albion and Mrs. Francis (Elizabeth) Govers.
A brother, Harvey Harmon, Olney. 24 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren, 22 Great-grandchildren & several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, seven brothers & an infant daughter.
