Lyle was born March 18,1931, in Apple River Township Wisconsin, he was raised and worked on the family farm in Fox Creek, Wisconsin, Lyle and Joan were married on December 22, 1952, in Pine City, Minnesota, they were married 33 years and have four children and nine grand-children. Lyle died suddenly at the Apple River Hospital in Amery, Wisconsin on Sunday, December 29, 1985, at the age of 54 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Cleone, and one grand daughter Wanda. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Joan, one son Darrell of Champlin, Minnesota, three daughters Barbara Stolis (James) of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Penny Effertz (Michael) of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, and Shelly Pederson (Roger) of Milltown. Wisconsin, two brothers Art Cox of Ogilvie, Minnesota, and Darvin Cox of Baileyville, Illinois, Five sisters Velma Anderson of Seattle, Washington, Etheleen Lundsmann, of Scottsdale Arizona, Ruth Smith, of Cedarville, Illinois, Helen Johnson of Milltown Wisconsin, and Rena Kampen, Baileyville, Illinois, and one special nephew Ray Mosier. He leaves nine grandchildren: Neil, Jason and Amy Stolis, Tara and Aaron Effertz; and Lacy, John, Melissa and Shanna Pederson. He also leaves other relatives and friends.
