Clement S. White, 55, of 1146 Elmer St.. died at 2:55 a.m. today in his home after an extended illness.
He had been a plumber for 39 years. Mr. White was born on Jan. 18, 1912, in South Bend.
On June 23, 1934, he married Marie Kolanda, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Thomas E., of South Bend a daughter, Mrs. Carol Ann Bogol, of South Bend; four grandchildren; two brothers, Edward J. and Eugene G., both of South Bend; and three sisters, Mrs. Betty Gassensmith and Mrs. Rita McCue, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Evelyn Carrier of Mishawaka.
Mr. White was a member of the 3rd Degree, Knights of Columbus, and of Local 172, Plumbers and Steamfitters Union.
