Mrs. Lavonne L Paben, 49, of Mitchell died at a Cheyenne hospital Thursday evening, August 7, 1969.
She was born Sept. 27, 1919, in Falls City Nebraska and received her education in Nebraska City.
She married Melvin Paben, May 21, 1941 in Rockport, Mo.. They made their home in Nebraska City until moving to the Mitchell area in 1950 where they have resided since.
She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Mitchell.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Melvin Duane and a daughter, Carolyn Mae, both at home, five brothers, Kelley Thorne of Nehawka, Nebr., Claude and Wayne, both of Nebraska City, Harley of San Francisco and Sherman of Scottsbluff. Three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Weston of Union, Nebr., Mrs. Doris Pierce of St. Joseph, Mo., and Mrs. Violet Rose of Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 A.m. in St. Theresa Catholic Church in Mitchell. The rev. Robert Weist officiated and burial was in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Scottsbluff.Lavonne Leah THORN
