Theodore Lynn Stewart left to continue on his eternal journey on 15 June 2018.

Lynn was born in Logan, Utah on 5 May 1928, to the late William "Willie" Helaman and Mabel Stewart. He was one of their four children.

Being a good citizen and contributing to the community was important to Lynn. He served for two terms on the North Logan City Council and also served on the Cache County Council.

Lynn's reverence, joy and gratitude for nature was unusual. Great joy and gratitude was experienced by him while riding horses with his sons in the mountains, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, motor biking, having picnics and camping with his family. He loved and appreciated the beautiful world around him every day and in every season. In the last few years he cherished just riding in the car with his wife around his beloved Cache Valley.

Lynn was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to serving as a missionary for two-and-a-half years in Mexico when he was just twenty-one, Lynn and his wife served as senior missionaries in the Texas Laredo Mission along with twelve years at the recommend desk in the Logan Temple.

Many former middle school students will remember him teaching them how to write checks, create stock market projects, type, and understand and appreciate social studies.

In addition to teaching, Lynn truly enjoyed every aspect of farming: raising cattle, plowing, cutting and hauling hay and watering. Planting seeds and watching as the crops grew and matured was one of his favorite experiences. He enjoyed just walking around and looking out over his fields.

In addition to his parents, Lynn was predeceased by his siblings, Boyd H. Stewart, Gale S. Knight and June S. Spackman.

Left to cherish his memory are Lynn's beloved wife, Laura Gai (Clark) Stewart and his amazing children, David (Patty) Stewart, Mark Stewart, Scott (Natalie) Stewart, Stephen (Anita) Stewart, and Suzanne (Neil) Dixon. Lynn was further loved by his sixteen grandchildren and thirty-nine great-grandchildren, all of whom miss his special attention paid them, individually.

Lynn's family sends their appreciation and thanks to his special caregivers: Dr. Mark Huffman, Olga Romero, the staff at Maple Springs, and CNS nurses, Amanda Fisher and Mike Nelson.
