In 1847, Francisca Wisniewski, 19, daughter of Matthaeus & Anna Wisniewski, married Jacob Kaminski, 23, son of Martin & Marianna Kaminski, in the Catholic parish of Panigrodz Stary in Lekno, Poland. (Poznan Marriage Indexing Project)

Her full date and place of death are from her Indiana death certificate for which Danl Kaminski was the informant. It was reported that she died at 1506 Orange St., South Bend (which is where Jacob was listed on the official 1900 census date of June 1, 1900). It was the understanding of the informant that she was 71, and born in Poland to ___ Wisneski. The death certificate and the interment records of St. Hedwig Catholic Church in South Bend, indicate that she was interred in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

According to the 1900 census of South Bend, Indiana, Jacob Kaminski was living with his daughter, Mary Paczesny and her family at 1506 Orange St. He, a widower, was reported to have been born in Poland, and to have immigrated in 1883.

At the time of the 1910 census of South Bend, Jacob Kaminski was living with his son Stanislaw, Stanislaw's wife Agnes, and other members of the Kaminski family at 1210 Huron St.
