According to the 1900 census of South Bend, Indiana, Jacob Kaminski was living with his daughter, Mary Paczesny and her family at 1506 Orange St. He, a widower, was reported to have been born in Poland, and to have immigrated in 1883.
At the time of the 1910 census of South Bend, Jacob Kaminski was living with his son Stanislaw, Stanislaw's wife Agnes, and other members of the Kaminski family at 1210 Huron St.
According to his Indiana death certificate, "Jakub" Kaminski died at 1210 Huron Street in South Bend on Sep. 15, 1911 and was interred in St. Joseph Cemetery in South Bend. Stanislaw Kaminski was the informant for his death certificate and reported that Jakub was a widower and was retired. It was his understanding that Jakub was born Aug. 25, 1822 in Poland to Marcin Kaminski.
