Mrs. Rose Urbanski aged about 76, of 912 West Fisher street, died in St. Joseph hospital at 5:35 p.m. Saturday after a weeks illness.
She was born in Poland and came here 62 years ago. She was the widow of Stephen Urbanski, a former city policeman. He died In 1913.
Surviving are four sons, Stephen, of Martinsville, Ind., and Harry, Edmund and Thaddeus, of South Bend: five daughters, Mrs. Blanche Otolski, Mrs. Mary Buczynski, Mrs. Theresa Chelminiak and Mrs. Lillian Prawat, of South Bend, and Sister Mary Edras, C.S.C., dietician at St. Joseph hospital; 29 grandchildren and 11, great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Rosary society of St. Hedwige's Catholic church, of the Woman's Civic club and of the Polish Women's alliance No. 65.
