PIONEER WOMAN DIES

Spokane, Oct. 4.--Mrs. Adelaide Galland, the widow of Solomon
Galland and the mother of Julius, Adolph, and Sam Galland, prominent in commercial circles here, died at her home here today at the age of 77 years.

She had resided here for 25 years and formerly lived in Farmington, Wash.
