ACTIVITIES OF INDIANA D.A.R.
"Schuyler Colfax chapter of South Bend reports the death of a member, Mrs. Kathryn Carlisle Weinrichter of Pelham Manor, N. Y. at Sante Fe, N.M., Oct 31.
Mrs. Weinrichter, the daughter of Col. Charles Arthur Carlisle and Mrs. Anna Studebaker Carlisle, D.A.R. state legislation chairman, was very active in the world war, serving in a Red Cross canteen in Europe from the fall of 1917 to December, 1918."

Less than two years after Kathryn's death: "Six memorial trees planted in Central Park [New York City] by the Woman's Overseas Service League in honor of six members who died since last Memorial Day, were dedicated yesterday. The trees were tributes to.....and Mrs. Ralph Weinrichter, all of whom served with the Red Cross in Europe."
