Victor F. Franz, age 86, of 3319 Bellevue Place, Two Rivers, entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Victor was born on the family farm in the town of Two Rivers on July 18, 1922 to the late Herman and Rosa Bonfigt Franz, and lived his entire life there, until moving to Two Rivers in October of 1997. On November 27, 1946, he married the former Lorraine Haws, daughter of the late Charles and Rose Haws at St. Lukes Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Victor farmed the family farmstead for many years, and in addition to farming he also worked for Eis Structure Movers, drove a milk truck, and worked for Lakeside Packing Co. for 25 years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, two daughters, Sharon Baetz and Sandra Franz, both of Two Rivers, his twin brother, Cyril Franz, of Mishicot, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charles Haws, Jr., of Kewaunee, Allen (Janet) Haws, of Two Rivers, Lucille Franz, of Florida, Dolores Schultz, of Tisch Mills, Margaret Meissner, of Two Rivers, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to his parents and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, he was also preceded in death by an infant daughter Victoria, and an infant son Victor Sr, one brother, Roland Franz, his sisters, Caroline Haag, Gertrude Oswald, Emily Fricke, Alice Brunner, Lucille Wilfert, and an infant sister Eleanor. He was further preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Fred Mueller, Wencil Oswald, John Haag, Francis Fricke, Harold Wilfert, Glen Meissner, Raymond Schultz, a sister-in-law, Delores Franz, and by his son-in-law, Patrick Baetz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers, with the Reverend William O'Brien officiating, with entombment to follow in the Knollwood Mausoleum Hwy. 310, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the church, until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Tuesday evening visitation.

The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the Franz family with funeral arrangements.
