According to ancestry he is my great-granduncle.

Son of William Edward Murphy Sr. and Cynthia Frances Whitehurst (my great-great grandparents)
Married Mary Jane Smith Jan. 27, 1889 They had 3 children Wilbur, born 1890, Walter born 1891, and Mattie born 1896.
I have been told he died in 1899. Can find nothing to confirm this. Wife, Mary Jane remarried in 1900.
Since many other family members are in this cemetery, assuming Joshua is here too.
Adding because he is the only family member not accounted for.
