Virginia Corda Murray was born in DeLand March 3,1918, to Fred and Madge Van Note Sparrow. She married George Murray on Nov. 18, 1950, in Danville. He died June 20 1983.
One son, Jim Parks, five brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sisters, Peggy Stretch, Bernice Saathoff, Patty Sparrow and Mary Lou Elliott; one brother, Joseph Sparrow; three granddaughters and three great-grandsons.
