Berniece Saathoff was born Feb. 3, 1921, at Farmer City, a dauthter of Fred Sparrow and Madge Van Note Sparrow. She married Martin Saathoff on Dec. 31, 1957, at Champaign. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Barbara Ohrnstein; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Juanita "Peggy" Stretch.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, six brothers and five sisters.
