Note correction to info. below: Mary Elizabeth was the daughter of Fred Vernon and Alta Mae Lafferty. On the1950 Clark County, Missouri census Mary Elizabeth and her three sisters were living with her uncle and aunt, Alfred Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Marsh.
