Charles F. Kozaczuk, 56, of 923 S. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Friday, June 27, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth, with military rites at graveside accorded by Amvets Post No. 99.
Mr. Kozaczuk was born Feb. 13, 1924, at Manitowoc, son of the late Julius Kozaczuk and Lottie Skrzyczynski Kozaczuk. He was a resident of Manitowoc County all his life. He attended St. Mary Parochial School and was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1943. He was a veteran of World War II serving from March of 1943 until December of 1945 with the United States Army 37th Recon Division. He married Emily A. Decker Aug. 29, 1951, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. He had been employed as a pipe fitter at Mirro Company. Mr. Kozaczuk was a member of Amvets Post No. 99 and Old Timers Baseball Club.
Survivors include his wife, Emily; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Dale J. and Terri of Manitowoc, David A. of Seattle, Wash., and Paul J. at home; his mother, Lottie of Manitowoc; two brothers, Edward of Manitowoc and Leo of Two Rivers; seven sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Florence) Packowski, Mrs. Tessie Trottier, Mrs. Edward (Elizabeth) Decker, Mrs. William (Phillis) Armstorng, and Mrs. Earl (Dolores) Kugler of Manitowoc, Mrs. Francis (Serena) Lemberger and Mrs. Russell (Eleanor) Franke of Milwaukee; and a grandson, Dale Jr. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
