Hugo H. Ceaglske, 92, 204 Cottage St., Merrill, died about 3 a.m. today at Holy Cross Hospital in Merrill. He began the Merrill Monument Company in 1900, and with Paul Koebe in 1922 opened the Merrill Wood Products Company, which they operated until it was destroyed by fire in 1929. Mr. Ceaglske then worked for the L. S. Strassheim Company.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Schram Funeral Home in Merrill. The Rev. Edward Jackson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Merrill, will officiate. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.

Mr. Ceaglske was born July 28, 1879, in Owatonna, Minn., son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Ceaglske. He was married in 1904 in Merrill to Clara Juhnke, who died in 1959.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vernard Bloomquist, Minneapolis; a son, Norman, Minneapolis; a brother, Otto Ceaglske, Manitowoc; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
