William Ceaglske died at the Ravn hospital Tuesday morning of an attack of appendicitis. Mr. Ceaglske had apparently been in good health up to Monday, but on that day the disease developed and advanced so rapidly that he was hastened to the hospital Monday evening, too late, however, to save his life.

William Ceaglske was born in Waseca, Minn., November 12, 1886, and came with his parents to Merrill twenty-seven years ago. He was married, his wife being Miss Elsie Denne, and she with two children Allan, aged six years, and Boyce, aged four, survive the husband and father.

Also surviving is the mother, Mrs. Adolph Ceaglske, one sister, Mrs. Robert Welk, a brother Hugo, all of this city, Emil of Minneapolis, Gustav and Adolph of Manitowoc.

Deceased was a member of the Oddfellows and Eagles.

The sudden taking away of this estimable young man comes as a shock and a severe blow, not only to the immediate family, but to a large circle of friends as well. He was one of Merrill's progressive young businessmen, a member of the firm Ceaglske Brothers, proprietors of the Merrill Marble Works, industrious, home-loving, whose every thought outside of his business was for his home and family.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the home at 2 o'clock. Rev. J. W. Davies of the Presbyterian church, and Rev. M. Schmidt of St. Stephans church, will have charge of the service.
