Rosie was born on June 21, 1931 to the late August and Theresa (Broeckel) Heimermann in Chilton, Wisconsin. She graduated from Chilton High School in 1949 and began employment at Hansen Glove Factory, Kiel. She then proceeded to work at Sargento where she retired after 28 dedicated years. Upon retirement, she worked at Millhome Supper Club for 16 years.
Rosie was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and enjoyed attending service. In her free time for many years, she enjoyed making cakes for all occasions. She was a dedicated caregiver both for her special friend, Milton Bebermeier, and her seven grandkids. She was always willing to help on the farm or help Cheri with cakes. Rosie was an avid Polka dancer and would attend dances weekly. In addition, she loved to travel the world with some destinations being Alaska, Hawaii, Germany and Australia. She loved helping others and was always willing to lend a hand. She loved her family dearly, but her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy.
Rosie was preceded in death by her mother and father by Theresa and August Heimermann, her sisters, Pauleen (Frank) Rick, Dorothy (Clayton) Christopherson, Elsie (Norbert) Mueller, brother-in-law Roland Gerhartz, son-in-law, Gary Diedrich, along with her special friend, Milton Bebermeier, and many other friends and family members.
She was survived by her children, Richard (Debbie) Nennig, Cheri Diedrich and Gary (Lori) Nennig, her grandchildren, Tracy (Joseph) Heinbuch, Theresa (Brian) Post, Paul Diedrich, Nicholas (Alyssa) Nennig, Kimberly (fiance Jared) Diedrich, Melissa (Shawn) Behnke and Craig Diedrich, her great grandchildren, Archer and Saxon Post, Claire and Lily Benke, and Harper Nennig, her sister Loretta Gerhartz and her brother, Glen (Joan) Heimermann.
The family would like to thank her dedicated caregiver, her daughter-in-law, Debbie Nennig for all her love and support throughout the last five years. Additionally, we would like to thank Tammy Freis, Harvest Home, and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the amazing care that she received during final years with Alzheimers.
