ST. ANTHONY- Lula Brown Clark, 86, a long-time resident of the St. Anthony and Wilford areas, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 1985 in the Fremont General Hospital of a heart condition.

She was born Nov. 23,1898 at Wellsville, Utah, the daughter of Jesse Murray and Joshua J. Brown. She grew up and graduated from the eighth grade in the Wellsville area. She worked for six years for a doctor in the Wellsville area.

On Aug. 4, 1919, she married William Edward Clark at Logan, Utah. The marriage later was solominzed on March 28, 1940, in the Logan LDS Temple. They made their home in East Wilford where her husband farmed. in 1926, the couple moved to St. Anthony where she has since resided. Her husband died in July 1972.

She was active in the LDS church. She also served as a Heart Fund Volunteer and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She is survived by three sons, Billy Clark and Terry Clark, both of Idaho Falls, and Burke Clark of St. Anthony; three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Helen) Kron of Pocatello, Mrs. Morris (Betty) Waddell of Rexburg and Mrs. Blaine (Bonnie) Hawkes of St. Anthony; one brother, Jim Brown of Powell, Wyo.; 33 grandchildren and 86 great-grandchildren.

Service will be Wednesday, Aug. 7, 1985, at 1 p.m. in the ST. Anthony 3rd and 4th LDS Ward Chapel with Phillip Hawkes officiating.

Friends may call at Bidwell Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and at the church Wednesday one hour
Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery.
