Walter Leslie Batman, 42, son of Andrew Jackson and Azubah Jane Williams Batman, was born in Crawford County, In. on January 13, 1882 and passed from this life July 19, 1924.
Survivors included, his dear aged mother, two brothers, William J. Batman, of Great Bend, Kans., and John Emery Batman, of Magnolia, In., two sisters, Mrs. David M. (Anna) Stephenson, of Magnolia, In., and Mrs. Walter Q. (Pearl) Ballard, of Burnett, In.
The funeral was preached the following Sunday by Elder Sam White, At the Dillman Church and the body was laid to rest in the nearby cemetery.
