MAGNOLIA - John Emery Batman, son of Andrew & Azubah Williams Batman, was born in Crawford County, In. on June 7, 1931, and died there on April 12, 1931, aged 55 years, 10 months and 4 days.
He was married to the former Anna Straughn on December 11, 1900. No children were born to this union.
Besides his wife, he was survived by his mother, two sisters, Mrs. David M. (Anna) Stephenson, of Magnolia, In. and Mrs. Walter Q. (Pearl) Ballard, of English, In.
His father, and three brothers, Charles, William and John Batman preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at the Dillman Church Sunday. Conducted by the Rev. Edd Apple, with burial n the Dillman Cemetery.
