Betty married the love of her life, George Jost on October 7th 1953 and together they had five children.
She devoted her life to her family, helping on the family farm and working for the Hernke's and later at Nestle, and Fromagerie Bel Cheese until her retirement in 1995.
Betty was steadfast in her faith and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert.
Betty loved gardening, baking, sewing and quilting. She displayed her talent by participating at the Calumet County Fair yearly. She enjoyed spending time playing cards with her friends, visiting with grandchildren, and sitting outside with George enjoying a beautiful day. The couple spent many years traveling the world together as well as taking day trips to the Casino where Betty was always the "lucky" one.
Betty looked forward to every holiday where she was able to give her beautiful handmade creations as well as antiques that she collected throughout the years to family members for all to enjoy. Her kindness and loving nature will be missed by many.
