Oneta Belew Patton of Terrell passed away on March 7, 2008 in Terrell, Texas. She was born on Nov. 20, 1920 to the late Gib and Georgia (HISAW) Belew in Cash, (Hunt County)Texas. Oneta was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Patton on Aug. 15, 1969; son, Don Patton on May 18, 2001; two brothers and twin sister. She is survived by her loving children, Pat Waters, Mary Maas and husband Ernie and Charles Patton and wife Alice; brother, Billy Belew and wife Lavern; sister, Betty Elliott and husband Lee; 13 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Patton, Shawn Patton, Jackie Hubbard, Tim Maas, David Waters and Jeremy Coffman. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2008 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with B. A. Patton and Bill Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Chisolm Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Anderson-Clayton Bros.
