Obituary:
EUFAULA ~ Services for Mrs. Katherine M. McCoy, 66, of Stigler, Oklahoma, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Merritt Funeral Chapel in Eufaula with the Rev. Posey Gaines officiating.
Burial will be in Bower Cemetery in Eufaula [Longtown]. Pallbearers will be Bryan McCoy, Craig McCoy, Dewayne Handke, Butch Zook, Howard Kimbley and J. T. Dungan.
Born in Moniteau County in Missouri on January 22, 1919, Mrs. McCoy died Thursday at her home. She was married to Lester T. McCoy Oct. 8, 1939, in Garber. She moved to this area 12 years ago from Oklahoma City. She was a homemaker and a member of Eufaula United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Kenneth, of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Rena Lu Mason, of Tucson, Arizona; three brothers, Clarence Geminden of Goltry, Oklahoma, Frank Geminden of Sedona, Arizona, and Earl Geminden of Longtown, Oklahoma; three sisters, Frances Oehrke of Sedelia, Missouri, Freida Shumard of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Erblean Bailey of Irving, Illinois; and four grandchildren: Bryan Lester McCoy, Craig Len McCoy, Tresha Lea McCoy, and Melissa Kay Mason.
