Willis Bridges at the age of 45 in Green County,Missouri enlisted in Company M, Arkansas 1st Cavalry Regiment on 29 Nov. 1862 as a Private.

Their children are;
Caroline b Sept.18, 1841-1930 m Timothy Edson he died at the end of the Civil War in 1864, Caroline then married Ransom Hook in 1867.
Charlotte "Lottie" Nov. 12, 1843-June 9,1916 m. Dec. 20, 1858 George W. Rice 2nd. m Ben Smith. Lottie married 6 times and a widow.
Allen W. b. Nov. 24,1845-d. 1922 m.Margaret Evans. Allen W. served in the Civil War. He was a preacher.
Allie Ann b. Nov. 24, 1847-1848
Levina Jane B. Aug 4, 1850- died 1930 m. Feb. 18, 1866 Kinney Dotson. According to Levina's death certificate she was born in Springfield, Mo.
Issac Willis born May 20,1853- died 1930 m. Delania Wollard. Issac was a preacher. They had a daughter Bertha May who married Charles Wagoner. Their son was the famous country singer Porter Wagoner of Nashville.

Willis Bridges was a farmer and a blacksmith.

The first house in Eagleville, Harrison County, Mo. was built by Willis Bridges in 1844 in the northeast part of town. The town was called Eagle at that time. Willis and his father Allen helped found Eagle, Harrison County, Missouri. Know as Eagleville Missouri today.
