Note re DOB
"Although her tombstone clearly reads 1798, the "History of the early settlers of Sangamon County, Illinois" by John Carroll Power, Springfield, IL 1876 states "Sarah, born Dec. 4, 1797, married Allen Bridges." Census readings from Harrison county, MO in 1850 state that she was 54; then in 1860 they state that she was 64. These ages would be consistent with a birth year of 1796 or 1797, and not 1798. ~ James R. Bridges, Bridges family historian, "

Son Willis Bridges is buried here, as is her husband, Allen C. (Sr?) .
