Martha Lannis Hodge, 78, of Manhattan passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at home with her family by her side.
Martha was born Feb. 22, 1934 in Bozeman to John and Mabel (Neal) Johnson. She attended school in Bozeman and Manhattan, where she met Charles Hodge. Charles and Martha were married on July 17, 1950 in Livingston.
She was a natural caretaker and enjoyed helping people, especially her children. She also loved knitting, crocheting, and arts and crafts.
Martha is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles; their five children, daughter, Cindy (Jack) Duffy and sons, Dan (Sally) Hodge, Jerry Hodge, Chuck (Tina) Hodge, and Jeff (Darice) Hodge; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Beth Dorsey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings.
Cremation has taken place and services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Manhattan Bible Church (123 South 5th in Manhattan).
Memorials may be made in her name to Rocky Mountain Hospice, 301 Edelweiss Dr., Ste. 5, Bozeman, MT 59718. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Martha Lannis Hodge to the Alzheimer's Association, 3010 11th Ave. N., Billings, MT 59101.
