Darlene was raised in the Gallatin Valley, graduated from Gallatin County High School and spent most of her life in the valley. She was a gifted quilter.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Ray J. Quist of Bozeman; sons, Tony (Diana) Huckert of Manhattan, and John (Jean) Huckert of East Helena; and Ray's son, Steven (Nancy) Quist of Eden Prairie, Minn.; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and sisters, Betty (Joe) Parks of Manhattan, Beth Dorsey of California, and Lannis (Charles) Hodge of Manhattan.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family graveside service.
