Death Summons Comes To Well Beloved Woman
Mrs. E.J. Wellborn Dies Monday at Homes of Daughter in Montgomery

A message brought the sad news of the death of Mrs. E.J. Wellborn at Montgomery at 5 o'clock. The news brought much sorrow to the Anniston friends of the much loved woman who spent many years in Montgomery at the home of her son, M.B. Wellborn.
Mrs. Wellborn was 82 years of age and died suddenly at 5 o'clock Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Warren F. Dent. During her long residence in Anniston, she drew a large circle of friends, all of whom will be pained to learn of her demise. She was the maternal grandmother of Hubert Dent, a well known local real estate man.
The funeral services will be Tuesday in Eufaula and interment will follow in the family lot at the old home of the family. Besides her daughter with whom she spent her last days, she is survived by four grown sons; M.B. Wellborn, governor of the federal reserve bank in Atlanta; Walter D. Wellborn, Alfred Wellborn, and Arthur Wellborn.
