Paul. -- [Miss] Martha E. Paul was born on the 25th day of September 1862 and died at her home in Robeson County, N.C. on the 24th day of March, 1911
In the death of Sister Paul her neighbors have lost a kind friend, her family a devoted sister, and her church --Purvis, on Rowland Circuit-- a faithful member. Reared under religious influences, she united with the Church early in life, and was faithful to the sick and suffering ones about her, according to her physical strength. Her burial was largely attended, beautiful flowers were places upon her grave, but what was still better, those who knew her believe that her spirit rests with God. F. B. McCall.
