Clinton L. Love September 26, 1931 - June 12, 2008 Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Brother Clinton L. Love, 76, of Montrose, died June 12, after a short illness. Clinton Love was born on September 26, 1931 in Logan, New Mexico, the son of Ralph and Stella Love. He married Billie Shinn Love also of Logan, NM on June 25, 1949. They were privileged to celebrate 59 years of marriage together. Clinton was an Ironworker and they lived in various cities around the country helping to build dams, bridges and steel structures. In 1962 they settled in Montrose, Colorado. He was a member of Ironworkers Local 24 and retired in 1987. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ for 41 years. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family especially his grandchildren. Clinton was an avid sports fan following all the Colorado teams. Survivors grateful to have shared Clinton's life include his wife Billie Love, of Montrose; sons, Jerry Love and wife Colleen, of Montrose and Jeff Love and wife Nancy, of Littleton. He also leaves behind three brothers, three sisters, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Larry Love who was survived by wife Arlene Bouse and daughter Judy Rumbaugh who was survived by husband Andy Rumbaugh, one grandchild and three sisters. A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, June 16, 2008 from 5 - 7:00 p.m. at the Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Church of Christ in Montrose with burial to follow at Cedar Cemetery, east of Montrose. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Crippin Funeral Home, 802 E. Main St., Montrose, CO 81401.
