AGED WOMAN PASSES
Mrs. George McDaniel passed away at the home of her son, G.C. McDaniel, Thursday morning about 6:30. Mrs. McDaniel who was a native of the Kentyre section, was in her 86th year at the time of her death. For the past year she suffered greatly from infirmities of old age and was confined to her room most of the time. She was sitting in a chair in her room Thursday morning when without warning the end came suddenly. The night before she had rested well and was feeling well up until the time of her death.

About three weeks ago Mrs. McDaniel moved from her old home in Kentyre to Dillon where she made her home with her son. Her Christian life had surrounded her with a host of friends and her death has cast a gloom over her home community. Mrs. McDaniel was a thorough Christian woman, taking part in all Christian movements and extending a kind helping hand wherever she could. She was a member of the Kentyre Church for many years of her life.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Roy Arnette at the family burial grounds between Mt. Calvary and Kentyre and interment was made at 2 p.m.

Mrs. McDaniel is survived by her husband, of Kentyre, who is 82 years old. She is also survived by the following children: T.B. McDaniel, Dillon, Rt. 4: G.C. McDaniel, Dillon: D.E. McDaniel, Kentyre and Mrs. T.E. (Katie) Christenburg of Kentyre.

NOTE: CORRECTIONS: Mrs. McDaniel's age 86 years is incorrect. She was 75 years old. Her husband George McDaniel's age of 82 years is incorrect. He was 73 years old.

Minerva had long red hair. She had diabetes. The death certificate list heart trouble-Bright's disease and kidney problems.
