Essek was the son of Henry Eugene Fenner and Julia E Mc Kernan. He was born in Spencer, MA and served in WWII. Mr. Fenner enlisted on Sep 25, 1942 and was a Warrant Officer. His employment, before the war, was as a medical equipment maintenance technician. And even earlier he had worked at Northridge Furniture Co. with his two brothers, Harry and Edward.

He married Myrtle Mc Carty Chase and had two sons, Frederick William born in 1947 and James Essex born in 1949. His son James died in a fire in Lowell, MA in 1981. Essek (sometimes spelled Essex) died in Rutland, MA.
