Mrs. Griffin enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening and was an avid Astros fan. Above all, she enjoyed and loved her children and grandchildren. Her big smile will be missed by everyone. Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Elvira McMillian and her brother, John Bolander. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Holmes of Spring and Barbara & Gary Tafolla of Spring; 6 grandchildren, Angie & Kirk Freeman of Katy, Norm & Melissa Holmes of Magnolia, Blake Tafolla of Spring, Brooke & Jason Beam of Spring, Brittany Tafolla of The Woodlands and Blaine Tafolla of Springs; 5 great grandchildren, Nathan Holmes of Magnolia, Daniel Freeman of Katy, Hailey Holmes of Magnolia, Ethan Clarke of The Woodlands and Julia Freeman of Katy; 4 sisters, Lillian McDaniel of Baytown, Marguerite Allphin of Bryan, Florence Gatlin of Dime Box and Lina Kelly of Bullard; brother, Alton Bolander of Spring as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
