Mae Eliza Hodson Jenson, 86, Monroe, Utah, passed away April 3, 2003, in Richfield, Utah.

Mae was born Dec 16, 1916, in Provo, UT, to Isreal William Roberts and Melinda Lucretia Singleton Hodson. She married Melvin A. Jenson, Sept 26, 1946, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Mae graduated from BYU with honors, where she received her Master's degree. She taught elementary school more than 30 years. She has been an active member of the LDS Church, serving faithfully in all the auxiliary organizations of the church. She was an active member of the DUP, Camp Alma and also a member of the Monroe Literose Club.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin, Monroe; children, Ellen Mae (Paul) Johnson, West Valley City, Marilynn J. (David) Whiting, Fort Col-lins, CO, M. McKay (Sheila) Jenson, Richfield, Meredith D. (Pamela) Jenson, Mesa, AZ, Mark Layne (Marilyn) Jenson, Allen, TX, Margaret Ilene (Robert E.) Schuck, Findlay, OH; 25 grandchildren; and four great-grand-children. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Melva Jensen, Kenneth Hodson, Esme Pace, LeRoy Hodson, Harold Hodson, Rosemary Nielson.

Services will be Wed. April 9, 2003 12 noon Monroe 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 49 E. 200 N, Monroe. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Tues. 6-8 p.m. and at the chapel, Monroe Wed. 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial, Monroe City Cemetery.
