Melva Hodson Jensen, 92, of Ogden, died Wednesday, October 24, 1990 at a local care center.

Born December 7, 1897 in Provo, daughter of Isreal W. and Melinda L. Singleton Hodson. Married Joseph Ray Jensen, July 21, 1915, in Provo. He died February 1966. She lived in Ogden for 48 years. Member of the Highland LDS Ward, where she had been active as Relief Society and Primary teachers.

Survivors: two sons and one daughter, J. Robert and Ann Jensen, Tucson, Arizona; Malcolm H. and Norma Jensen, Twin Falls, Idaho; Norma Rae and Jim Porter, Ogden; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, LeRoy Hodson, Springville; Mrs. Melvin (Mae) Jenson, Nephi; Mrs. Earl (Rosemary) Nielson, American Fork. Preceded in death by one son and two daughters, Gerald Ray Jensen, Dorothy M. Jensen, Virginia G. Jensen.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, 12 Noon, Lakeridge Eight LDS Ward, 80 West 9th South, Orem. Friends may call at the Larkin & Sons Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Sunday, 6-8 p.m., and at the ward in Orem Monday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment: Spanish Fork Cemetery.
