MRS. M.H. SASSER TAKEN BY DEATH
Lida Woman Expires Friday Morning From Asthma.
Funeral Services Sunday At Providence.
Mrs. Mahulda Hale Sasser, 67 years old, died Friday at her home in Lida from Asthma and complications.
She had been in ill health for some time.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Providence with the Rev. Fount Brock officiating.
Interment followed in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
A daughter of Richard and Sarah E. Box Hale,
Mrs. Sasser was born at Blackwater July 29, 1870.
She was married to Mr. Felix Q. Sasser in 1888.
Surviving are eight children; Marshall Sasser, Liberty; Mesdames Mary Lewis and Sarah Bell Cheek and E. and Hardford Sasser, all of Lida; Richard Sasser, Connersville, IN; Felix Sasser, East Stanford, and Denver Sasser, East Chicago, IN.
She also leaves nine sisters and three brothers; Mrs. Laura Sasser, Grays;
Mrs. Etta Weaver, College Corner; Mrs. Susie Hamptom, Bloomington, IN;
Mrs. Sallie Rader, Pittsburg; R.D. Hale, Hamilton; Mrs. C.R. Jarvis, London;
Campbell Hale, Blackwater; Mrs. Eliza Duncan, Bloomington, IN;
Mrs. Margaret Jarvis, Johnson City, TN; and Mrs. Lucy Bowling, East Chicago, IN.
