STROKE IS FATAL TO F.G. SASSER
Mr. F.G. Sasser, following a stroke, died at 9:45 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Lewis, Lida, in his 83rd year.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 o'clock this afaternoon at Pilgrims Rest and interment followed in the church cemetery by the House Funeral Home.
A life-long resident of Laurel county, Mr. Sasser was born Feb. 14, 1865, the son of Jim and Martha Hubbard Sasser.
He was married to Mahilda Hale, who preceded him in death.
A farmer, Mr. Sasser was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Tommie Lewis, Lida and
Mrs. Sarah Bell Cheek, London and
six sons, Marshall, Liberty, KY;
E. Sasser, London, Rt 4;
Richard Sasser, Spring Hill;
Denver, East Chicago;
Hartford, Lida and
Felix Sasser, Louisville.
